Record numbers of Gator Nurses attended the Gainesville and Jacksonville Gator Nurse Gatherings this spring. This year, the gatherings are transformed to “Meet the Dean” events as a way for regional alumni and friends to interact with the college’s new dean Shakira Henderson, hear about her vision for the future of the college, and learn how alumni can be involved in advancing the college’s mission.

Gainesville’s Gator Nurse Gathering was held at Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille – Visors Rooftop on April 4 with nearly 120 attendees. Jacksonville’s event was held at Season’s 52 – St. John’s Town Center on May 21 with nearly 70 attendees.

An additional gathering was held in Washington D.C. on March 21 with three Gator Nurses who live in the nation’s capital.
