Kristina S Iligan (BSN 2017) was recently named the UF Health Cancer Center’s clinical research staff member of the year. Iligan is a clinical research nurse at the center.
Nicole Klesmit Karcinski (BSN 2003, DNP 2016) recently took the role of director of mental health for the University of Florida Athletic Association. Prior to that she spent 15 years at the UF Student Health Psychiatry clinic.
Lori Voynik Karnes (BSN 1986) recently retired as a captain from the U.S. Navy Reserves after 31 years of honorable service in the Navy Nurse Corps. She will continue to work as a civilian, training new nurse residents and providing community classes on injury prevention.
Judith Rapp Hara (BSN 1971) recently publish a digital book, “Journey: The Story of Ernest and Sylvia Rapp.” The book shares details of her parents’ lives, including their experiences during the Holocaust.
Neil McFarlane (BSN 1994, MSN 1999) was recently named president and CEO of Zevra Therapeutics company, a rare disease therapeutics company based in Celebration, Florida.
