After a two-year hiatus, the College of Nursing was pleased to host an in-person Gator Nurse Gathering in Gainesville during Nurses Week. The popular receptions are held regionally and offer alumni the chance to network and reconnect with one another and the College of Nursing. Nearly 50 alumni and friends attended the Gainesville gathering, which was the first in-person alumni event since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additional alumni gatherings are being planned for the fall and summer in areas with a concentration of Gator Nurses, like Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa/St. Petersburg. If you’re interested in getting together with Gator Nurses in your area, please contact Anna Hoffman at asuggs@ufl.edu.
