Gator Nurses “Stand Up and Holler” for Giving Day
We are so grateful to all College of Nursing alumni, faculty, students, staff and friends who answered the call.
Despite a challenging environment this year, the University of Florida’s third annual Stand Up and Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day on Feb. 18 was a resounding success. On this day, all alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends were asked to make a gift to the university to support any area that means the most to them. With ambitious goals of 20,000 gifts and $20 million, the university exceeded these with final tallies at 22,198 gifts and $25,383,005 raised. At the College of Nursing, Gator Nurses answered the call and rallied behind the profession that has been on the frontlines of COVID-19 for over a year. A total of $644,287.17 was donated by 226 individuals for College of Nursing scholarships, funds and initiatives.
We are so grateful to all College of Nursing alumni, faculty, students, staff and friends who answered the call to “Stand Up and Holler” to make Giving Day such a success!
