Student Accomplishments
Recent updates from College of Nursing students.
To our students, we know it has been difficult to leave your friends and classrooms behind as we have worked hard to ensure we all stay safe during COVID-19. We quickly transitioned to an online-only platform early on to ensure we not only protect you, our students, but to protect other members of our community who may be more vulnerable to this disease than most.
During these trying times, each and every one of you have gone above and beyond in your efforts in continuing your education. Not only have you been creative in how you complete your course loads, but you have been flexible while we navigate these new and challenging times. We commend you for your strength and resilience during this unprecedented time of educational endeavors and know you are making Gator Nurses all around the world proud.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of our peer tutors who have continued to provide individual students or small groups of students with individualized tutoring assistance. Because of you, you are ensuring the success of your fellow classmates. We are seeking new tutors for the next academic year. Learn more about applying here: Office of Student Success.

The College of Nursing is pleased to award the Care, Lead, Inspire awards to students who exemplify the tri-part college motto, Care, Lead, Inspire. These students were selected by the faculty as those who best embody each of these attributes.
Nurses are the heart of the American health care system. For more than 60 years, the University of Florida College of Nursing has prepared nurses to provide the highest quality-care — the same care they would give to their own family members.
