Stand Up and Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day
Thank you to all College of Nursing alumni, faculty, students, staff and friends who answered the call.
Gator Nation Giving Day was a 24-hour fundraising event during which thousands of faculty, staff, alumni, students, parents, families and friends came together to support UF and all of its areas of positive impact in our state, nation and world. Last year, the inaugural Giving Day far surpassed its goal of 5,000 gifts, having received over 11,000 gifts. This year the university put forth an ambitious goal of 15,000 individual gifts for the second annual Giving Day on Feb. 20. The final count of gifts to UF was 16,993 and total dollars raised was $23,585,379. The College of Nursing landed on the leaderboard at No. 11 for dollars raised among all UF colleges with 287 gifts and a total of $119,254.
