Accelerated BSN student Hannah Douglas is co-author on a research article on water insecurity among Haitian residents that was published in the journal PLOS One. More information available here.
DNP student Amy Kammerer was selected for a $1,000 scholarship from the Florida Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association to attend the APNA annual conference. Kammerer was selected for her essay, which was published in the Florida chapter’s fall newsletter. Her essay encourages nurses to address and manage mental health needs through a holistic approach.
The Accelerated BSN class of 2019 received their pins signifying their transition into the profession of nursing during the official Pinning Ceremony in August. Several members of the class were recognized with awards for exhibiting excellence in various areas:
