Bonnye L. Duerr Cox (B.S.N. 1964), 75, of Melrose, Florida, passed away July 21, 2017.

Donald L. Miller (B.S.N. 1965), 81, of Callahan, Florida, passed away November 22, 2015.
Lynn Hampton
Lynn Hampton (B.S.N. 1966), 73, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away January 23, 2016.
Marguerite “Penny” Pinard Woods
Marguerite “Penny” Pinard Woods (B.S.N. 1973, M.N. 1973), 93, of Palatka, Florida, passed away July 19, 2017. Penny worked as a registered nurse at the “old” Palatka Hospital. Upon receiving her master’s degree, she worked as a psychologist for Twin Oaks in St. Augustine, Florida.
Evelyn Stewart Casey
Evelyn Stewart Casey (B.S.N. 1975), 84, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away May 24, 2017. As a nurse, Evelyn was dedicated to providing the best care possible, serving patients in a step-down unit from ICU at Alachua General Hospital.
Linda K. Green Ratliff
Linda K. Green Ratliff (B.S.N. 1984), 72, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away August 2, 2017. Her love of people led her to pursue a career in nursing. Linda worked at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, the Suwannee Health Department in Live Oak, and Advent Christian Village in Dowling Park, Florida, before retiring.
Marilyn Patterson Anderson
Marilyn Patterson Anderson (M.S.N. 1986), 86, of Plano, Texas, passed away July 31, 2017.
Virginia R. Strozier
Virginia R. Strozier, 96, passed away June 26, 2017. She was one of the founding faculty members of the UF College of Nursing, moving to Gainesville in 1957 to work closely with founding dean Dorothy Smith.
Doris W. Campbell
Doris W. Campbell passed away July 1, 2017, in Tampa. Dr. Campbell was a faculty member of the UF College of Nursing before moving to the University of South Florida, where she retired as a professor emeritus. For over 40 years Dr. Campbell’s teaching, research, scholarship and public service focused on women and children, especially the consequences of intimate partner violence and abuse for African American women and their families.
