Sandra Seymour Memorial
Honor the legacy of Seymour with a gift to dedicate the Sandra Seymour Exam Room at Archer Family Health Care.
For 40 years, Sandra Seymour taught generations of Gator Nurses
For 40 years, Sandra Seymour, Ph.D., ARNP, taught generations of Gator Nurses. She also made a significant difference in the lives of her patients as a family nurse practitioner in our community. Seymour, who passed away in 2012, practiced with a gentle and caring hand at Archer Family Health Care, the college’s nurse-managed practice in the rural town of Archer, Florida, and her patients came from great distances because of her dedication and expertise.
To honor the legacy of Seymour, the College of Nursing is asking alumni and friends to consider making a gift to dedicate the Sandra Seymour Exam Room at Archer Family Health Care. This room will celebrate the compassionate patient care provided by Seymour. The money raised will support the efforts of the practice to provide care to the underserved and uninsured in our community. We are pleased to announce that we are just over halfway to the $50,000 goal to name the Sandra Seymour Exam Room. Our college is fortunate to have the support and enthusiasm from our many Gator Nursing alumni and friends, but we still need your help.
Please consider giving a gift that will honor her memory as well as continue to make a difference in the lives of our students and patients at Archer Family Health Care.
